Hancent SMS slowwww!

Handcent was awesome. Did past couple updates and now it opens incedibly slow. When it finally opens it force closes. Is anyone else having this problem?

Love handcent over stock messaging app.
Maybe someone has an older version of the apk that used to run fine.

Any insight would be awesome.

no problems here, but I've never known handcent to be especially fast, at least on an eris.

I just noticed there is an update that is supposed to "speed up" Handcent. Installing now.

Hi does hand cent block the message appearing on the screen when you receive it, even before you have opened it my wife tries to see what it is

look on this forum for "handcent custom" (might be "handcent themed" ) and install that. it cuts out a lot of the BS that you dont need and its pretty zippy.
