Help Hands free does not lock screen

Hi,

when I use my Nexus S in a hands free mode (e.g. in my car) and get a call the phone in my pocket gets activated and the touch screen does funny things while calling! is there a way to set the phone to not activate the screen automatically when I answer a call via hands free equipment?
