Help HELP serious battery drainage!!

when i woke up this morning my battery was at 100% as usual. i left my phone on standby for around 4 hours and turned it on to see the battery at 33%.... i was shocked i had not used my phone one bit. i checked the battery usage which said that the dialer took 47% of the battery.... what could this be, is it an app i installed thats using the dialer in the background? please HELP?

Check it using Spare Parts (either download it or type *#*#4636#*#* in the Dialer) that should show you the App that is using the battery - Battery History -> Partial Wake Usage.

I sometimes get UID10023 taking a chunk of my battery (and I've never managed to identify that UID) but apart from that it's brilliant for showing battery usage problems.

I've seen this happen before for a few people and it has happened to me too. It's usually a one-off. Battery pull seems to cure it and as far as I'm aware, it never re occurred.

Not.seen this issue for a long time.

What android version/build?
