Hi. I'm new to Droid. I'm a very long-time Mac user and while I love my iPod Touch, I didn't want an iPhone.
I first purchased a BackFlip, but knew nearly instantly that I had the wrong phone. I returned it and found I could get a Captivate for free.
So far, I'm having a great time finding helpful apps and learning about the phone. I still need to learn to keep the phone away from my face because I keep muting or disconnecting when I smile.
