How do I copy a photo hidden in plain sight?

I used an original photo for the home-screen wallpaper on my old LG G4. I wanted to use it on my new one, too, but I don't know where on the old phone I'd find the file. And I can't find the original on my PC--probably misfiled or misnamed.

Where should I look?

Use a file explorer, did you use Google photos?

I ;hooked up the phone to my PC via USB and used File Explorer to check all the image files I could find in the G4's internal memory (its microSD had long since been moved to the new phone).

I have thousands of shots online at Google Photos--hard to find a particular one without knowing the photo's date--and if I knew that, I could also search quickly among the JPEGs on my PC.
