I have a LG Optimus Black P970. I want to disable the tapping sound that generates when we type sms using the onscreen keyboard.
I have already disabled Audible touch tones under sound settings but no luck.
    PLZ HELP !!!

A lot of keyboards will have a keyboard settings button usually left of the space bar. It usually will look like a little gear. It may have to be long-pressed if it's normally used to type some character.

If it's not there you can get into regular phone settings and then language and keyboard and you ought to have something like an "android keyboard settings" and maybe "lg keyboard settings" check both for sound/click being enabled.

Yes, that got me at first, too. Sound settings for keyboard are in the "language and keyboard" settings, and then lg keyboard. scroll down and you'll find the option to controp sound and vibration. ;)
