How to get apktool to work on windows 10?

I recently switched from windows 7 to 10 and can not get apktool to run
I installed java her jdk tried apktool in c:\windows and c:\lenovo\apktool
And it says that there is no such batch ECT.ECT
I am so frustrated does anyone know how to get apktool to work in windows 10 please help

You may need to find another version that supports win10.

If it's about files path issue, reinstalling the software should fix that.

unistall all java runtime and se inyour laptop and install only one java jdk 8. it works for windows 10 i use it check if you didnt install 2 java enviroment

Just install Linux, Windows issues are solved, Lol. Really tho, Linux is much better for building/compiling/using Java.. using Windows is like using a tool to make a tool, which becomes a sketchy extension of said tool that doesn't work right but you can try this as it has apktool compatible with Windows but also has a lot more plugins to work with. It'll be $15 but is certainly worth more to ppl who use it extensively:

WINDOWS is for rom porting and apps to build.
you can build with windows using putty ssh but linux is recommended because it works fine and easier and since android is made of linux
