Hi, following the instructions from HTC on setting up HTC Sync, I have run into a problem which has me scratching my noodle and jumping up and down in frustration at this otherwise rather handy piece of kit...
Phone does not recignise HTC Sync:
I plug in the USB cable and I expect to see the "default type" dialog box. But it has never appeared. As such, Sync never recognises there is a phone connected.
What does happen on phone is:
message "USB connected"
message "USB debugging connected"
I can setup the connection to read/write the card from the PC. great.
But I can't get it to connect and recognise the phone! This is only a problem because sometimes I need to take advantage of the tethering.
Anyone else had this?
