i cant change notification sound in yahoo mail

I can no longer turn off the notification sound in yahoo mail, i go into the yahoo email settings, change the sound, and turn off the vibrate feature, exit the program. I go back in and everything is back on (sound and vibrate). I have deledted and reinstalled the app with no luck. Anyone have any ideas ?

exact same thing happens with the facebook app and its settings.

If you just want yahoo mail to stop annoying you, you can go into the App Settings and uncheck "Show Notifications". Of course, this means NO notifications from Yahoo Mail

Thanks, i didnt know that setting was there, i still like having the notification in the status bar, but i guess that will work till they fix the issue. Thanks again.

It's not really a solution. Just a workaround.

I still have not found the cause behind how the facebook app keeps changing the notifications and settings without my knowledge. Same cause/reason may be true of yahoo mail.
