Help ICS to GB.

So i have a razr maxx and I recently updated to ics. I hate it. It make things so much more difficult for me and I really want back the gingerbread that I had. Is there any way to back? Will a factory reset put me back on gb? Please help! :(

No, a factory reset will only wipe your user data.

If your device is rooted you could flash a gingerbread Rom, otherwise there is no way to go back

The only way is to root, or go to Verizon and tell them your having problems. My mom HATED I mean HATED the update she went to Verizon and they had her a "certified" replacement sent out.

People are just afraid of change. Just get over it and get used to it. Pretty soon all the Verizon like new replacements will have ics on them too. Idk why people wouldn't like this update. It makes things so much smoother and faster. And there's actual support for dual core processors.

I don't think it is change they are afraid of but just being used to to the previous android OS. I like change that's why I looked forward for ICS. It took a little while to understand the changes but in the end I'm looking ahead and not backwards.

This may be a bit harsh. If you read through the MULTIPLE threads on here you will see that there are people having very real issues with ICS. I for one, am experiencing multiple freezes, battery life is about half of what it previously was, and I am dropping network connections frequently. All these are new issues that have developed with the "upgrade" to ICS.

I think it safe to say that, people are not afraid of change, but that they had a device that just worked and now are frustrated that for them it seems to be a step backwards. Just my .02

ETA: a quick Google did bring up this, but I have not taken the time to read through it
I have successfully gone back to GB after having ICS - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com
