Help Infected phone

Hi, is it possible to delete the entire software (os) on my phone (virus infected) and install back a new software; as in reprogram with a new os?

Factory reset doesn't help. I think i have some major viruses in my phone, these porn apps keep popping up with new ads, opening automatically, sometimes turning on my wifi & data automatically, sometimes restarting my phone and stuff.. the phone is literally freaking out, can't use it at all.

I factory re-setted it quite a few times, doesn't help. Anyone know what to do here?

You'll need to reflash the firmware of the phone, which is in essence deleting and reinstalling the firmware (OS). This is very device specific though, there is no universal Android installer. The firmware for the S6 won't work on an S5 or S7. The firmware for a US version phone won't work on an international phone. Heck there are cases where a Tmobile firmware for the same phone won't work if your model is Sprint based.

So you need to search for the exact firmware for your phone.

It's also possible to root and just uninstall the malware that embedded as system apps (which is why factory reset won't fix it).
