Is it possible to have a Sense UI-like mod for "Google" Android phones?

Hi! Just got my Droid, but I tried the HTC Hero for a couple weeks and really enjoyed the Sense UI. Since Android is an open platform, I was just curious, is it possible for a third party developer to create a custom UI that significantly alters the entire interface and functionality of Android 2.0 on the Droid, for example?

In the marketplace apps just search for "Weather widget - Donate". It cost 1.49 but i love it. Has the flip clock and weather on my home screen. Works great on a droid.

I think they are talking more about the 7 screens, the pinch zoom... you know significant stuff like that.

I use Open Home to get the 7 screens. As far as pinch zoom, that's probably going to require a bit more than just an app.
