Root issues rooting with superoneclick

Hello all,

I made sure to activate usb debugging, and all that.
I downloaded the drivers, .net framework and superoneclick, extracted superoneclick and when I ran the root it wouldn't complete. Neither would shell root. Can anyone help?

1-Make sure you download the latest SuperOneClick
2-Download this file Zippyshare.com - rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin
3-Disable your antivirus if it detects the file to be a virus (Mine did)
4-Place that file in the "Exploit" folder of the SuperOneClick Program
5-Open SuperOneClick and click on exploit it should say "AUTO" change it to "rageagainstthecage"
6-click on Shell Root first, then let the program do its thing and if the program hangs or doesnt respond just close it
7-open SuperOneClick again and make sure that "rageagainstthecage" is selected and this time click on ROOT. and that should do it, enjoy your rooted phone.

thats how i rooted my LG Viper 4G LTE on 2.3.7
