Help Issues with Facebook and S4

When first setting up my S4, I sync'd my Facebook account. This allowed me to have my contact pictures change to the persons profile pic and then change accordingly. A few days ago I deactivated my Facebook account then I reactivated a day later. Now the pictures aren't syncing. I went through my Facebook account and made sure that the sync function was set to sync with my phone contacts. It didn't work. I then tried the other sync options and still nothing. Is this a known issue with the S4 or am I missing something? Cant figure this out.
