keep my droid or trade to the x

i have till aug 30th.....
what will my phone be worth 6 months from now if i keep it?
what will i be able to get an x for in 6 months?
will the diff be more than the 85 dollar hit i will take to trade up, if i do it before the 30th of this month??

think i really want the bigger screen of the x.....
will they have the volume issue fixed by the end of this month ??
ideas, suggestions??

the only issue with the DX is the crappy motorola skin...if you can get past it(which i cannot personally) then its pretty good

My opinion is that you should keep your Droid Original as long as you possibly can, then trade up to the best Droid phone you can get, or the most budgeted, depending. This is moot for me, since Sprint doesn't allow in contract trade-up's, but either way, there will aways be a better phone.
