My keyboard, no matter which, is slightly off kilter! I have to hit the left hand side of the letter I want. If I go directly on letter, the respons is almost random: sometimes correct, sometimes not. I once had a phone that enabled me to center the contacts (I disremember which). Can I do the same with the S3?

Not sure about actually calibrating the touch screen. What you can do is download a touch screen test app to verify whether or not the calibration is off.

Yeah. I have the same issue. I hate touch screen keyboards.

I would recommend you try some alternative keyboards. Most people feel the default Samsung keyboard is not very good. I use Thumb Keyboard. SwiftKey is also quite popular.
