Help LG ST600 can't find HTC Thunderbolt using DLNA

my new LG ST600 finds my WIfi; my HTC TB finds my Wifi; but they don't find each other. So I cannot stream media from phone to ST600 and then TV as DLNA promised.
Have attempted to setup both devices as a player or a server. But no go. Both search, but can't find. Both ST600 and HTC TB connect to my Wifi router network, and both perform normal browsing, downloads, etc. Also check firewall and turned off antivirus.

Do I need special software or an app for the HTC TB in order for the the ST600, or any other DLNA device to find it? I thought DLNA was supposed to prevent these headaches..... Help greatly appreciate

BobbyD79903 did you solve this because I to have this problem. But with Acer A501 and LG ST600 finds everything else on my network expect the A501. Ps3 finds the A501 but not the St600. Weird
