Help "Login Failed" Problem For Gmail on Incredible

The gmail on my HTC Incredible phone had been working perfectly for 4 months on Verizon, but recently the Gmail has basically stopped working. All it says is "login failed" whenever I try to refresh. I deleted the accounts and tried to re-add them, but now it still says "login failed." It seemed to be working when it was only connected to the WIFI, but now that's not working either. I can log in without a problem to my internet based gmail? Any suggestions? THANKS!

Most likely a temporary issue on Google's end while they are updating (My phone is off at work or I'd try it for ya) Wait a couple hours and then try again. If the problem persists, go to manage apps -> Gmail -> Clear Cache and force close, then try again.

Still having the same problem, but I am just using a different mail program now and that seems to be working fine. Thanks anyway!
