Memory cards/Class

Thanks MacFett will be downloading and running a SD Tools speed test sometime today now that I know for sure what class of uSD card I have. Class 4

I looked around but any good PC speed test for SD cards ??

take the limits of any one phone out of it, and let a PC do the test with less speed limits???

didn't like all the bad reviews about it for some, looks as if I won't be able to speed test my SD on my tablet as you can't chose which to use. [one I linked too]

Found another in the Sandisk forums and its rated highly. H2testw 04.01

Think I like this one better. They are both very slow. Reading through some of the reviews on Newegg, people still use this one to test.

**EDIT**

The results on my class 10 using H2test after it tested about 38 minutes:

Warning: Only 11942 of 15167 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 10.0 MByte/s
Reading speed: 11.3 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

Here are the results for my over priced PNY 8GB Class 10
P-SDU8G10-EF

Im using a USB card reader adapter, plugged into a USB hub, no idea if the 5ft of cable makes any difference ;)

I got at walmart, cost near $30, all they had, needed one right away for the new tablet n took it. Figure later Ill get it a bigger one, then put it in the OV that still has the stock 2GB SD card.

Warning: Only 6911 of 7655 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 10.8 MByte/s
Reading speed: 13.1 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

CrystalDiskMark
Writing speed: 11.99 MByte/s
Reading speed: 14.17 MByte/s

Now we just have to wonder if different USB ports give different results.
They can give different results. A USB port directly on the mother board is going to be faster than one that isn't. How different? That I can not say.

350X can you try your class 10 with sd tools? I'm curious what the difference in phones will do.

Well like reported SDtools wont let me chose which SD card in my tablet to test, so it will only test the internal, not my extermal class 10.

internal is
Writing speed: 7.6 MByte/s
Reading speed: 15.3 MByte/s

stock OV 2GB card
Writing speed: 5.1 MByte/s
Reading speed: 11.99 MByte/s

I saw this on DealNews if anyone interested.

It gets pretty good H2testw 04.01 scores too. I would get one if I hadn't just bought this 16 gb for $20.

I have had problems in the last couple of weeks, with making mistake's as well, just not as little as yours though. My Sjogren Syndrome is getting worse and making it hard to focus and think clearly. I just have to make sure I don't do any posting when it flares up.

Would somebody PLEASE just recommend a brand/ model card that works good with this phone? I've been searching, searching, scouring, scouring, digging, digging through page after page on Google and just can't find a specific brand/ model 16GB card that works good with this phone.

I have a Sandisk 16GB SDHC Class 4 that seems to have been giving me problems. I get frequent freezes/ lockups, and the occasional reboot. I just ran the SD tools and got around 5mb write 10mb read, then the phone rebooted. I really think theres something up with the card and just want to try another brand, but have no idea what to buy.

I'd especially like to know exactly which card you have Atmazzz as those speeds look quite nice.
