Any chance fix permissions can be added?

it's already present... it's in every cwm based recovery by default.

just run "fix_permissions" from adb shell. or "sbin/fix_permissions"

I will not be adding a menu option to do this simply because running it is known to cause problems in many roms.

Sometime in the future i may rework the script for our phones, but at this time it is not on my to do list.

thanks

Very good boogy. I had a previous version works great.

thanks.

this build is much better than previous versions

mainly because i fixed some errors that no one including myself even knew about the old builds

this is probably the final recovery release for the device

2 things:
do you have to be rooted to install this touchnav and
what is procedure to install from stock (menu-vol up - pwr)?
thx

best just extract it and flash it via rooted adb shell

i don't believe it will install on stock recovery--can't remember and didn't really care when i wipped the package since the img is in there. there's so many ways to do it... just pick one lol

Hello. I am new to this whole ROM businesss. I managed to root an old ZTE Merit I had roaming around in the junk drawer. I then installed Stayboogy--roamer--aosp--1-3c on it. by renaming it update.zip. However, I am unable to install the Gapps because when I go into recovery there is no option to access the sdcard. In fact, the only thing that shows up thee are the original 3 options it had before I rooted.

How do I get this Touchnav Recovery installed on my phone? I want to update my ROM to the Stayboogy one.zero.full.hardware but that requires me to have Touchnav Recovery. How do I install Touchnav Recovery? What steps do I need to do before I install it? Do I need to do something with my sdcard, like repartition, and if so how?

I have tried to figure this out by following threads but as there is no clear path of what works now as opposed to what worked in 2012 for what I want now I am so confused I just now forgot my name.

So please, any help with this would be appreciated.

Ok, I have tried to install several ROMS by just renaming them to update.zip but they all keep aborting due to being unsigned even though the ROM's are all supposedly signed. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

BTW, I tried to use the ADB shell but could get nothing going because it kept telling me i did not have adequate permission for the device. I tried as SUDO but still did not work. This was on Linux.

I was unable to install the custom recovery so I just downloaded & flashed the Phydeux-2.0-CWM5-update.zip from Android Area 51 & when CWM came up I flashed a rom.
