Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] Any flashing kernels guide?

    I want to flash a kernel on my rooted lg optimus f3 so i can overclock but i dont know how. Is there any tutorials on how to do it that include the necessary files? i am new to rooting so i have no idea how to do this if i can get instructions i should be able to figure it out. thanks!!

    I don't know how dedicated you are...but, I would recommend first switching to a linux operating system...arch or gentoo if you want to rush right in...redhat if you consider yourself advanced...otherwise I would recommend linuxmint or ubuntu if you want that windows/mac feel...I would recommend arch because they have the best wiki and help forums for a beginner...learn the basic commands and push yourself to compile from source (really is quite simple)...learn about what the kernel actually does...especially the modules part...basically I cannot not think of one guide that will tell you everything you need to know....I think for any of the guides you may find that you will need some kind of background knowledge
