Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] How do I set the default install location to External SD Card with root?

Hi im new here, this is my first post but iv read threw a few threads before. I just recently rooted my phone so I could change the default install location of apps to my external sd card but of the things I tried none worked, not sure if I did them wrong or they just dont work for me. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this thanks.

Link2SD will do that, but not all of the app will be installed to the card. Parts still have to stay in internal memory. It's like in Windows, you install a program to D:, but it still takes up some space on C:

Will the memory thats on the internal take up alot of memory if its a big app?
