Help [MetroPCS] Which Android(?)-service control Screen Shortcut Apps?

Can someone please advise which Service controls the shortcuts for each screen?

I was in the services (Settings/Applications/"ALL"

I went through "suspects crashing"--Gmail, Play Store constantly crashing Post recent baseband flash


Clearingcache (play store Gmail, etc.

*Might* be on to something(?)--upon reboot, first time ever I have seen "Tutorial" pop-up for Multi-scteen.

Anyway something I disabled lost all app shortcuts.
Which service controls please..
