Root MMS not working right on cm7.2 install

I just reinstalled cm7.2 and it is working great except for the texting. Seems someone sent me a text at 2 but here it is 8:30 at night and I still don't have it. Took over 20 minutes for a text post to FB to actually get on my timeline. Before on the Froyo, it was instantly on FB.

I know before there was a mms.apk that I had to install after a few reboots, but that link that I kept is not valid anymore and the only other mms.apk that I found here in the threads would not install, went through the motions and then it would not install.

Any ideas on how to fix this one? Is there a setting I need to change??

Should work since I flash this right after I'm done setting up CM7
