Hello everyone,

I am currently doing some university research and am interested in tapping into the phone to collect some quantifiable data on the processor and subsystem workloads that arise from regular use (for example, the amount of operations and computing the phone does for processing the radio, or image processing for the camera/media), as well as information on application specific energy use and even thermal data. What are the useful tools in the development kit (if any) that would suit well for this task? What are the best android tools that are good for research?

Thanks.
