moto x wont turn on or charge

[Android Question]

just bought my new moto x for verizon and at first it turned on fine and i activated it well i turned it off for the night and when i woke up the next morning i plugged it into the charger and it went to to white screen with the battery charge indicator and it said 0% 30 mins later still 0% then it all the sudden said 70% and let me turn it on a hour or so later it was off again and when i plugged it in it stayed at 0% and wouldnt do anything anyone else having this problem?

The battery indicator hasn't calibrated yet. Let it charge for 24 hours before you try to turn it on.
