Move Download ringtone to ringtone section

Just picked up galaxy 2 and downloaded a ring tone, need to know how to set it as my ring tone. Help appreciated. D

Hi and Welcome to the forums, dfaubert.

Couple of things to try, create a "ringtones" folder in your SD card and put the ringtone in there. Your phone should be able to read that and it'll be on the list of ringtones to choose from in your settings.

Another one, find your ringtone file and long press then there should be an option to set as ringtone.

You should find that ringtone in the download folder. Do what xmr405o suggested and you'll be good.
