I live in Mexico and my text messages are sometimes in English and sometimes in Spanish. When I had Android 4.4 and 5.0 it was a mess. When I would try to dictate a message in Spanish Android would type English words that sounded similar. I didn't bother to try with Android 6 or 7. I'm using Android 8 beta now and tried dictating a text with my new Pixel. It works fine in both languages. If I mix Spanish and English in one message it has a nervous breakdown but if I start speaking it seems to correctly identify the language and lock in on it for the message.

    Thanks, Android.

Are you talking about the odd word, which has no translation into the target language? I can see that as a valid use case.

No, it simply sometimes gets confused. I wish you could specify the language when you start and Google would stick with that language.
