Need help with my Galaxy Nexus:

    1. No speed dial--do I just have to live with this?
    2. No email or message notifications on screen icons, and my LED notification light never goes on.
    3. No menu option to delete photos from Gallery.

    Thanks!

    1. You can make speed dial shortcuts
    2. Light Flow will fix the LED problem
    3. There are options to delete unless the pics are shared on picasa or G+. If they are shared then you will need to delete them from the website.

    1. What sort of speed dial are you referring to? Where you bring up the phone dialer and hold down 1 for a few seconds and it dials? Or an icon on a homescreen that direct dials someone?

    3. Try a third party gallery tool like Picasa Tool.

When you hold your finger on a dial button

Can't understand why Gallery doesn't have a delete command.

Couldn't find delete options in Gallery menu. Where are they?

    Thanks!

When I long press and go to three dot menu, the options are edit, crop, set picture as, details. Is this the way it's supposed to be? Thanks

It sounds like these pictures are in the cloud, you can not delete them from the gallery. Look at my first reply ;)

This was driving me crazy also until I logged on to Google+ and disabled the upload photo function; after doing that the delete icon showed up in my phone's gallery.

Google should change that so that it defaults to phone only first than people can go to Google+ and activate that upload function it they want to.

Hhhmmm, you went to Google+ on your phone, and unchecked 'Enable Instant Upload' and the delete icon still doesn't show when you take a photo and view it in your gallery? I thought that was all I did but I could be wrong.

Deleting the pics on instant upload can be tricky. Go to Google+, turn that setting off on both your phone and the web, delete the photos on the web, then hit refresh on the gallery when all the albums are present.

Dialer2 in the market. Long press on a keypad number and get speed dial options and more.

Add *86,,& your password. Then long press on the 1 key and save it as your speeder.
