I've had my Droid for about 4 months now and I love it. I came from a long line of BB's so it's refreshing. But I get tired very quickly of having limits I guess. I don't know whether to go Droid X, wait for Froyo release or Root my Droid. I know it's a smaller processor in my Droid but it's not exactly SLOW. I have pdaNET and don't need to Root due to tethering. I just want something a little quicker. Pros and Cons are what I am after.

    Any help is appreciated.

I say before spending any cash on a new phone .... Root and load Froyo 2.2 from source and over clock it. You may just fall in love with your phone all over again :)

assuming you are comfortable with the process ofcourse
