Root Not sure which ROM to choose?

Do both installs share the installed apps, or do you have to have seperate for each boot?

I was wondering the just the other day.
How would this affect system memory?
I guess not much (if any effect at all) since I used to dual boot my old mp3 player with official firmware and rockbox.

Wow awesome :D

Yeah, I just skimmed through the description and it sounds like the apps will be separate to each ROM.

I think it means that both the ROMs are stored on the phone whilst all user data is on the SD card. (That's a bit more extreme than apps2sd, as it will include apps and caches for things like the browser/albums). I could be wrong but I that's how I interpreted this:

move the two roms' userdata to the sdcard's ext partitions

So system memory wouldn't be a problem (But SD space would be much more valuable :P)

Yea, you need 2 ext partitions, one for each ROM. It's funny a lot of people are against having Dalvik-cache on the SD but I've found having on my class 6 SD the home screen loads much quicker and apps open quicker.

I have a class 6 and can't say I've ever noticed a difference with the dalvik cache on there :) It's the way forward.
