Hi,
I've got a problem with my HTC Desire.
The LED of my Desire is always on and it is pink.
Can i turn it off or do i have to send it to HTC for a repair?
Not related to the above, but an issue with my notification LED nevertheless.
I have turned this off for all applications/items in Settings->Display->Notification Flash. I have my phone still vibrate and make a noise for every item that the phone receives, so the LED as well is not needed.
However when i get an email in the gmail app the LED still flashes, i've gone into the gmail app settings, but don't want to stop notifications completely which seems to be the only option.
Has anyone found a way to stop the LED in gmail, but still have it vibrate and make a sound when the email comes through?
I've said that i've deselected them all in settings, but that still doesn't stop it flashing.
I've heard that it can stop the phone from sleeping. Also i have mine in a case so don't see it flashing when it does anyway, so if i don't need it i would prefer to have it disabled.
Apologies, it was early. Anway, I'm still curious as to why??
i can't be the only gmail user here that doesn't want led notifications?
