Just wondering if anybody got virgin branded evo v instead of sprint branded. If so . Do you see any defects in software. Include rebooting . Or signal problems.

Haven't seen any yet. Even the plum colored ones from Best Buy have the sprint logo on them from what I've seen.

I was surprised by the plum ones not having VM branding. Was purple even offered by sprint?

Nope the plum ones are Virgin Mobile only. I am starting to think that htc just used leftover glass panes from the original 3D and stuck them to the Evo V
No.. Plum was offered by sprint.. only from BestBuy though. It was their exclusive.
Google it if you don't believe me.

I'm curious too. Are there noticeably fewer problems with the Virgin-branded EVOs than the first batch that was Sprint-branded?

Sprint had purple, Virgin has plum.

There aren't any wild VM branded ones out there yet. Also it's not like the Sprint branded ones are fraught with problems either. It's just that if people have problems, they're more likely to post about them, where as someone who has zero problems is probably not going to go to a forum and say that their device is working. Just another perspective to look from
