    hey all.

i rooted my desire about a month ago, and only used root access for backups.
last week i got the OTA update to 2.2 and installed it, but now i think i no longer have root access. i was doing something (i forget what now) and it told me i need root access to do the task. i still have superuser permissions on my app list, but im not totally convinced...

is there an easy way to find out if i still have root access?

an OTA update will remove root and return you to stock

It won't quite do that. The OTA update will definitely remove root if it works, but will leave the phone in a way that isn't completely stock.
