Phoenix and Optimus S

Sorry for the possibly silly question, but I'm moving my services from Sprint to AT&T and was wondering if the Optimus S on Sprint is the same form factor as the Phoenix on AT&T? I'm not going to root the phone or do anything "under the hood", I just want to know if the two phones are similar so my wife can feel comfortable with the Phoenix.
