Phone Dial Pad While On Call

I know this is a noob question.....

While listening to a voice message I want to hit #7 to delete, etc. However, while on a call the dial pad closes. I hit the menu button but the dial pad is not an option.

Anyone want to help this poor noob?

I don't have the Hero yet but I'll have a stab in the dark - try the call pickup button?

It's a bit of a gripe with this phone, but it can be overcome. You need to download the shakeawake app from the market. It wakes up the screen with a gentle shake when the screen times out. Works well.

There is no call pick up when you are on a call. There is a Call End button.

However, I did figure it out. There is an icon to the left of the Call End button to open or close the dial pad.

I meant the physical call-pickup key bottom left of the phone, not an on-screen jobby. Glad you got it sorted anyway.

Yes this is purely trolling but interesting how different it is on the Hero vs. Android plain. We have a tab to push up after pressing menu while on a call. It reveals the dialpad and some options for speaker, hold, etc.
