my incredible alerted me to the news it was low on phone memory...checked my phone storage and it had about 540mb's or so of available memory. Has anyone else received this alert? I deleted a few apps I hardly use or tested and didn't like and the notification went away.

Is this a glitch that's been talked about before and perhaps will be rectified on froyo?

I had the same issue with my phone about a month ago. Just do a hard reset and it should clear up that problem

"Just" do a hard reset???? What a major PITA that is. After installing and configuring tons of apps? That's crazy! HTC needs to fix this KNOWN issue.

For me hard resetting would be a last resort, and not to mention would tick me off.
