Phonedog.com IP4 vs Incredible...must see

I watched this earlier and almost posted about it. Noah continues to make the right decisions and does excellent reviews for phones. Good post.

Epic. Love Phone Dog and Noah's reviews! It's nice to see an excellent reviewer now-a-days who's fair and less bias. I'm glad he didn't pick a winner just because it's the "newest" product.

Both are good phones with advantages and disadvantages! Awesome review but in the end I'm very happy to be on the Android team and on, in my opinion the better network.

great review but he was really hung up on the multimedia! he could have at least mentioned that the inc is getting its 720p recording soon

I wish I could show these reviewers how to sell Android and it's widget function. Few pictures here and there don't do much in selling it.

This. The widget function is what separates Android from iOS4. I saw an iphone 4 in person and once you get past the nice aesthetics of the design and the crisp resolution, there's nothing special about it at all. Same boring layout with this year's ration of upgrades. They couldn't even make the display a 1/2 inch bigger? Wtf? It was buttery smooth, but what wouldn't be with restrictive OS functionality. Hey, it makes a great photo frame for your desk at work if you don't mind paying 3x as much for 1/3 the size viewable area. :p I'll stick with android, thank you very much.

I'd like to set my screen similar to the reviewer (small weather widget in top left corner and photo in top right), but I'm new to the phone and can't figure out how to make the change. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Only thing I dont agree with is the Samsung phones are 4". That wouldnt or shouldnt be considered too big. That would be a lil enticing for someone. They can try a bigger screen but the phone would be closer in size to the Inc.

And the iPhone 4 music app crashing during the review: priceless lol

He made a good point about ease of use. Speaking to search the web, navigate, make calls, typing..... Android has the upper hand with that.

Ppl need to bring that up when debating Android vs. iOS.

I hope he does a re-review when 2.2 is out. Update the iPhone with all current patches then update the inc to 2.2 and test away. As far as I'm concerned the iPhone is just a toy. If I can't make a phone call with my phone then it's not a phone.

nice review, seemed less biased than most make too many excuses for iPhone. would really like to see review of both when Dinc gets 2.2 and iPhone gets its fixes.
got a snicker when iPhone crashed on music player.
that is how i see iPhone, music/media player with added phone

Like most people are saying.. Ever since I discovered this guy I feel he is one of the most unbiased reviewers out there. Good stuff.

Watched part 2 last night and was definitely impressed by his ability to see through the marketing of Apple. Not that the iPhone is not a great phone, but I need to be able to create my own experience and change it when I want.

One thing that bothered me is the horrible layout he had on the DrInc. It looked like he put zero effort into making it look nice. He could have taken a walk through our forums and found a few amazing layouts that showed the flexibility of Android and then set them up as scenes to switch back and forth between on the fly. iPhone has more features to so maybe it's a wash, but at least make the phone UI look decent reviewers.

Thanks for posting these videos. It was a really good, unbiased review and touched on the good and bad points of both devices. That said, it does seem like he could showed a little more on the layout customization available on Android. Scenes and widgets are very easy way to show the power of the Android OS.
