Root Photon ROOTED via HD Station

I went through all the steps of rooting the Photon, but I'm not sure every step worked as it was suppose to. How can I verify that my Photon is rooted?
 
Just walked into the sprint store, unplugged the photon that was on display in the HD dock - put my own in - and used firefox to extract the root stuff to the right place. Then I went home and installed SU and SSHDroid - rooted it just fine.

At the end, when you do the last step - the $ symbol changes to a #. That means that it got rooted.

If you're in the SSH terminal and you type "su" you should see a prompt on the phone asking if you want to grant super user access to SSHDroid. This means you rooted it properly. :)
 
I took the liberty of creating a more thorough step by step with images for those that prefer more detail and hopefully this will those who need more answers.

Now mind you, I want to make it clear that even though I did the pdf below with images, all credit goes to member edgan over in xda for finding this exploit as well as giving us the instructions. Does anyone know how to bring up the keyboard on the photon when it is in the dock in webtop mode? I am trying to root but don't have a keyboard.
 
When its in dock mode, the Photons screen turns black with two big buttons on the bottom (which are the left and right mouse buttons). The black area is where you would use as a mouse pointer. Once you place the mouse on a text field and click you will notice that there is a keyboard icon that pops up the keyboard.

Thanks, I had a wireless mouse installed in one of the USB ports of the dock that was causing the keyboard option to be disabled.
