Help Photos show up in MyFiles but not in Gallery or Quickpic

I use QuickPic instead of Gallery and suddenly it's saying it finds no photos on my SD card and asks if the card is mounted correctly.

I rebooted, fiddled with the SD card, and thought I'd have to reformat it - but that doesn't seem to be the problem, because all the photos are there when I go to MyFiles. My music player (N7player) has also stopped finding music files, although they're there, too, and if I click on a specific file, I have the option of using N7. When I do, it plays, but doesn't recognize any of the info it used to have about the artist and so on.

What do I need to do to make these apps find files on the SD card again?

Some things to try:

0 - try reboot.

1 - You might try manually refreshing the media scan using the following:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5hZGR6Lm1lZGlhc2Nhbm5lciJd

2 - Check that you don't have a hidden file .nomedia in your directories.
Or else toggle nomedia using:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.droida.nomedia&hl=en

3 - Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / Gallery / All / Clear Data and Clear Defaults.
Try 0 or 1 again after clearing Gallery data/defaults
