Root Powering on a rooted nook

Hey,

After I have rooted my nook I cannot power it on using the power button if it completely turned off. The only way I can get it to start is to plug it into my computer using the usb cable. Is this normal and is there a fix for it?

Thanks

I believe you misunderstood. I have already rooted my nook and it works great except if I want to power it off completely. If I power it off completely I can not power it on again unless I plug it into my computer via the usb cable.

I did misunderstand. How long do you hold the power button? I hold mine until the screen comes on. It seems to take awhile.

yes. NC boots off the SD card and. if you left your autonootered SD card in, it is basically rerooting itself. nothing displays on the screen. during autonooter. it works when you plug it into your computer because the autonooter script has to talk with adb on your computer to root. after autonooter does its thing, it auto rebooted and stuff shows on screen like normal. this is what you are seeing.

turn off, take it out, bootup, profit
