Help Problems while doing text or on the internet

Every so often when I am trying to respond to a text the keyboard will come up but it will not type anything on the screen sometimes if I get on the browser it and type it will become responsive other times it wont. I am having to restart my phone more and more everyday and I do not know what could be making the non responsive keyboard, can anyone give me any ideas or tips to correct this issue/

Don't know about the whole keyboard but on occasions I have had a letter or two freeze up on me. Also, had to restart phone to fix. Hopefully 2.3 will correct this issue.

I had the same thing happen to me several times when I first got the phone. I noticed that using the Gingerbread Keyboard from the Market seemed to remedy the issue fairly well.

I am also now rooted and running a Gingerbread 2.3 ROM and have had no problems at all since.
