Help Question about Back up and replacement devices

I'm returning my N7 due to screen lift, and am receiving a replacement. Will the replacement sync with my current back up? I know the apps should all sync, but what about the widgets and homescreen layouts etc? I spent some time geting those all just as I like and really hope I dont have to do it all again
