Question about SGS II and Android

So I'm getting a SGS II for my birthday and I would like to know if I can use websites on the internet to buy unlock codes so I can unlock it and use it with my GSM Sim card? I heard unlockthatphone.com is good.

The other question is, if SGS II comes with an older version of android, can I get the latest version when the ice cream sandwich will be available?

Yeah you will be able to unlock your phone that way.

There are already unofficial build of ics available for the gs2 so it will definitely be available officially in the near future.
