Question about SGS II

Hey.

I'm getting a SGS II From my cousin this week but he said to me it has some battery issues, it gives battery errors temperature when charging etc. is that something that I can fix?

Also another question: Can I turn on my SGS II without a SIM CARD? So can I use it , can I browse, listen to music even if no SIM card is on? Greetings.

1. Depends on what he is doing while charging. If for example he is tethering or playing games, the phone may get hot while charging and there are temperature warnings.
