Help Reboot Freezing

Recently my Inc has been shutting off randomly and wont boot back up. When I reboot it gets stuck on the initial booting screen and wont continue. The only solution is to take the battery out ( it wont turn back off just freezes ) and then put it back in multiple times. I have a flakey MicroSD card in it that disconnects randomly as well. Anyone else dealing with this? I think it may be due to the SD card but it seems weird that it would debilitate the phone...
