I have a samsung galaxy s6 edge version 7.0. I recently rooted my device and after a few days began to get viruses on web browser and noticed a slower performance so i tried to unroot (by going onto superuser app and clicking unroot) but i am now stuck on a start up loop and i have tried hold vol up, home and power then clicking reboot, ive also tried this and clicking clear cashe and the same with data but none of this has solved my problem. I have tried holding down, off and home buttons and im brought to warning page which says 'a custom 0S can cause critical problems in phone and installed apps, if you want to download custom OS press vol key up otherwise down. Please help! thanks

At this point it does sound like you need to flash a stock ROM to get your S6 Edge working again. Whatever happened after you rooted it apparently corrupted the Android operating system itself, creating a situation where the OS is no longer functional so whenever you try to start your phone it just gets stuck in that boot loop. Flashing a ROM is essentially the same as reloading the operating system on a computer, the ROM is the OS. But ROMs are not like the install media of a computer OS where they can be used to install an OS to a wide range of hardware situations. ROMs are specific to their phones, there is no mix-and-matching. Different phone models have different hardware configurations, plus different carriers rely on different cellular networks so you need to use a ROM that's an exact match to your model of S6 Edge.

To do the flashing process, you'll need connect your phone to a computer and then running the either the Odin utility (Windows based), or if you don't have access to a Windows PC or Heimdall (Linux, Mac, or Windows), you'll flash the ROM from your computer to your phone.

To download a ROM for your phone, try either sammobile or updato. Both are good sources for valid, stock, Samsung ROMs.
Sammobile

Updato

Again, it's really important to select a ROM that's an exact match to the model I.D. of your phone.
If you opt to use sammobile, at the bottom of the actual download page there's basic instructions on the flashing process.
Note that by flashing a stock ROM that returns your phone to it's original, un-rooted state. Once it's no longer rooted, think about either the Samsung Kies utility or Smart Switch to upgrade your phone.

Smart Switch

Also, you might want to try repairing your S6E using Smart Switch first. If it works out you won't need to manually flash your phone, if it doesn't you still have that option:

Thanks for the advice however i have now ran into more problems trying to do this, any advice ?

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge SM-G925F, and when unrooting it i restarted my phone and got stuck in a boot loop, i have ran into many problems when trying to solve this and well i think im just making it worse. Odin is not working, the log is stuck on <ID:0/005> SetupConnection.. and smart switch isnt working but im not too sure why. After using smart switch, the device now wont go into download mode, i'm stuck on "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in smart switch" and because smart switch keeps not working i cant get into download mode and I assume this is why i cant use odin.

If you can't get into Download Mode on your S6E, try to force restart it:
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00042005/
Then reboot it and try to into Download Mode again (simultaneously holding down the Volume Down, the Home, and the Power buttons).
Regarding Odin no longer detecting your phone properly now, that's an issue with your computer. Be sure that utilities like Kies or Smart Switch are also running, all three utilities -- Odin, Kies, Smart Switch -- are essentially trying to do the same thing so they each are using the same system resources (ports) and typically conflict with each other. Either go into your Windows Task Manager and kill any running Kies or Smart Switch process, or better yet just reboot your computer (and then use just one of the three at a time).
