Refused FedEx Delivery to Cancel Order

I wanted to cancel my metro pcs order and buy from wirefly, so I refused delivery when fedex showed up. That was on Aug 29th. I was thinking it already got sent back and just a matter of metro refunding when they get it back. Well take a look at this:

Sep 5, 2012 8:44 AM - Shipment exception - Undeliverable package
Sep 4, 2012 7:19 PM - At local FedEx facility
Sep 1, 2012 12:05 PM - At local FedEx facility
Aug 31, 2012 8:35 AM - At local FedEx facility
Aug 30, 2012 3:58 PM - At local FedEx facility
Aug 29, 2012 6:44 PM - At local FedEx facility
Aug 29, 2012 2:04 PM - Delivery exception - Refused by recipient

Why was it sitting at local facility for all that time?
What has been happening since Sep 5th? (no more updates)
If metro never gets it back, how do I get my order cancelled and money back?

Call fedex maybe they will give you some information. Call metro after that, some companies do not like when you refuse the package, it might take some to get it back.

I supervise at a local FedEx, Wat was your reason for refusing it? Well first your shipment is gonna be sitting in an area called OS&D which means over short damaged, and that takes a while,they need to contact seller letting them know you refuse the package, then they have to make report why you refuse it etc....... so that's being sayed its going to take a while lol so sit tight and keep up with movement on your package

I wasn't home, my GF was. She speaks Filipino better than English so I have no idea what was said when FedEx came. I just told her to refuse delivery and that part worked.

I'm guessing now that it has been declared an "undeliverable package" that it will be going back?
Does it get tracked on the way back and marked as returned when it gets there?
