Description
The application basically consists of a bar shown on the left for the chords and the six guitar strings on the right. Once you select a chord and rub along the strings with your finger, the Robotic Guitar plays a pretty realistic sound of an acoustic guitar. Beside acoustic guitar you can choose an electric guitar or piano too.
At the bottom of the screen you have two selectable menus. In the left menu, the keys can be selected and the right menu contains the dominant and sub-dominant.
Besides playing guitar chords, Robotic Guitarist still has extra features like a digital tuner for your guitar (the real guitar sounds) and a metronome so you can stay in rhythm.
Of course you should not see Robotic guitarist as a true simulator, but more as a tool for learning chords or to support developing your idea of a new song when your guitar is not close enough.
Pros:
Easy-to-use interface.
Very attractive sound.
Cons:
Lack of having multi-touch on strings.
Unable to save your own chord presets.
Sometimes the tuner is a bit inaccurate.
Conclusion:
one of the most amazing application out there for musicians.
Here is link to get you more familiar with the “Robotic Guitarist”.
It also teaches you how to play “Hotel California” with that.
