BLUE KINGDOM

- OTA 1.14.653.0

- Almost every HTC app has been removed.

- Themed to be similar to AOSP Halo Blue Theme - additional themed apps.

- All Major features working.

- Jellybean ringtones.

- Jellybean alarms.

- Jellybean notification sounds .

- Jellybean Keyboard.

- Many changes to improve overall phone speed have been made.

- Many useless services and apps have been removed.

- WiFi / Network Improvements.

- Tweaked camera / camcorder settings.

- Improved SD card speed.

- Improved GPU rendering.

- Dalvik optimizations.

- Memory adjustments.

- Application priorities changed in services.jar

- All volume controls have been increased from 7 to 30 notches.

- Google Now.

- Installable from both CWM and TWRP.

- All stock sound drivers updated.

- Possibly some stuff I forgot to list.


If there are any bugs let me know, suggestions also welcome.

To Install from Stock / Another Rom:

1. Reboot into CWM / TWRP

2. Wipe data/factory set

3. Wipe dalvik cache

4. Install zip from SD Card


To Upgrade from a previous Blue Kingdom version


1. Reboot into CWM / TWRP

2. Wipe dalvik cache + cache

3. Install zip from SD Card

You do not need to wipe data / factory reset if upgrading from a previous version unless I say otherwise !



After install:

Fix wallpaper size bug by long pressing screen - wallpaper - choose set wallpaper (or set your own wallpaper)

You are free to switch launchers without losing any of the theme.

Google Calendar Sync will crash once on install, this is normal.

- 1.4 makes major changes to the speed and smoothness of the rom.

- Optimized dalvik cache and scrolling cache. Fixed some dalvik flags. This should make scrolling, app launching and phone performance considerably smoother.

- Drastically reduced boot times after first install.

- Updated Adreno 205 GPU library.

- All apps updated to the latest version.

- More battery friendly jellybean boot animation.

- Misc tweaks and fixes.

- The HTC unlock ring is back. This is the only way to answer calls without unlocking the phone. You no longer need to unlock to see who is calling.

- Camera splash screens have been removed for faster camera loading.

- Supercharger changes have been built into the rom rather than having to run an external script

- Reboot times should be improved.

Testing it out now, love the installation process! Great job on the installer.

It doesn't seam to have the latest update in it, as I checked for update and it asked if I wanted to update.

Would be cool if you could give the option for a ASOP style status bar (if that option is used should include 4g toggle widget also).

Edit: Would be great to come with a file expoler of some sort (I use ES File Explorer).

It's nice to have a couple new roms out in the last few days. Flashed this morning and I think the installation process is epic! I didn't have much time to test it as I was running late for work, but once I have some time I'll let you know how it's working. Thanks!

unfortunately the creator of the kernel for my rom using won't be using this phone anymore, so I'm going to post an update today that goes back to 2fasts v5

Would be great if someone could take over development of his kernel, as really it feel about like 1.5ghz on 2fasts v5 at only 1.2ghz.

Updated to version 1.1. Changelog in main post. Hopefully there are no issues with the new OTA on this rom.

Wow great Rom. Probably the only one that has worked flawlessly for the first couple days. However, I noticed that it seems to be missing the HTC music app, which kind of upsets me as listening to music is one of the biggest things I use my phone for. Are there any plans to add it back in soon, or did I screw up while installing and it boils actually be there?
